柏克萊加州大學東亞圖書館現藏金石拓片約2800種，28000餘份，是美國收藏金石拓片最多的圖書館。善本碑帖和各類金石拓片多樣，所覆蓋時代上自商周石鼓文，下迄現代。碑帖內容亦廣涉歷史、文學、書法、世族、語系、官制、地理、宗教、民俗等諸多方面，極具多元性。《柏克萊加州大學東亞圖書館藏碑帖數據庫》收錄柏克萊加州大學東亞圖書館所藏碑帖，按摩崖刻石、碑刻、墓誌塔銘、造像、法帖、吉金、畫像石、磚瓦陶銘分類編排。該數據庫為中西方從事中國研究的學者提供重要石刻資料信息，使這批留存海外珍貴金石拓本數據得以充分利用。
