CAS BioFinder Discovery Platform is an advanced life sciences and drug discovery research platform developed by CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service), a division of the American Chemical Society. It brings together high-quality, curated scientific information on biological targets, diseases, biomarkers, bioactive compounds, drug candidates, and related literature within a single searchable interface.
The platform enables researchers to explore connections among proteins, genes, diseases, pathways, and chemical substances, supporting the entire early-stage drug discovery process from target identification and validation to lead discovery and optimization. It also incorporates predictive analytics and visualization tools that help researchers evaluate biological activities, structure-activity relationships (SAR), safety considerations, and competitive landscapes more efficiently.
Users are required to register a personal account under UM email to access the resources.
Eighteenth Century Collections Online
Trial period: 7 October 2026 - 30 November 2026
Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) is a vast eighteenth-century library at your desktop—a fully text-searchable corpus of books, pamphlets and broadsides in all subjects printed between 1701 and 1800. During the trial period, users can retrieve the content of "Literature and Language" and "Religion and Philosophy".
