CAS BioFinder Discovery Platform is an advanced life sciences and drug discovery research platform developed by CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service), a division of the American Chemical Society. It brings together high-quality, curated scientific information on biological targets, diseases, biomarkers, bioactive compounds, drug candidates, and related literature within a single searchable interface.
The platform enables researchers to explore connections among proteins, genes, diseases, pathways, and chemical substances, supporting the entire early-stage drug discovery process from target identification and validation to lead discovery and optimization. It also incorporates predictive analytics and visualization tools that help researchers evaluate biological activities, structure-activity relationships (SAR), safety considerations, and competitive landscapes more efficiently.
Users are required to register a personal account under UM email to access the resources.
Foreign Office, Consulate and Legation Files, China: 1830-1939

This multi-part resource will contain a century’s worth of correspondence from the British legation and consulates in the cities of imperial and republican China, documenting Sino-British relations and various aspects of Chinese history from 1830 to 1939. Themes explored in the sources include politics, diplomacy, international relations, trade, the economy, military conflict, public health, missionaries, migration, war, and revolution. 1830-1895: Wars and Treaties This resource will be released in the sections: 1896-1911: The End of Empire; 1912-1919: A New Republic (to publish 2026); 1920-1939: Nationalism, Communism and Anti-Imperialism (to publish 2027).
