In May, the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation (NCPSSD) released the Report on the Construction Achievements of the NCPSSD (2016–2026) and the Report on the Most Popular Journals (2025). In its summary of achievements over the past decade, the University of Macau (UM) was honoured with the “Best Partner Institution (2016–2025)” award by the Library of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), in recognition of its long-standing commitment to promoting and effectively utilizing NCPSSD academic resources. A total of 50 institutions nationwide received this honour.
The UM Library has long placed great emphasis on the development of academic resources and knowledge services, providing high-quality research support for faculty and students while actively fostering resource sharing and collaboration both within and beyond the University. This award not only fully recognizes UM’s achievements in promoting and effectively utilizing academic resources, but also demonstrates the University’s outstanding performance in humanities and social sciences research and in the effective use of scholarly resources. Looking ahead, UM will continue to enhance its academic resource development and information services, providing even stronger support for teaching and research.
