Deteção de semelhanças textuais
The University of Macau Library currently offers two similarity detection tools**: Turnitin and VeriGuide. As these are independently operated systems, the results from one do not affect the other.

- Students may apply to use VeriGuide for self-checking. To request access, please send an email from your UM email account with the subject "Request of VeriGuide service" and include your full name and student ID number, to lib_ref@um.edu.mo.
- Teaching staff may use Turnitin directly via UMMoodle, or request a standalone Turnitin account (not through UMMoodle) by emailing lib_ref@um.edu.mo.
- If needed, teaching staff can grant access to their Teaching Assistants (TAs) on UMMoodle to assist with similarity checking.
- Teaching staff may also use VeriGuide directly through UMMoodle.
