The construction goal of the records management system of the University of Macau is to build a complete archives directory database, full-text database, and multimedia database on the basis of the informatization of some paper archives and catalog data, combined with the actual work of university archives, so as to realize massive data storage and archives full-text information. The system also targets to build the university archives management works into a network application system with unified standards, flexible operation, open system structure, easy expansion, easy maintenance, safety, stability and reliability. The system functions cover the entire business process of records management, including records collecting, processing, archiving, storing, transferring, destroying, organizing, publishing, utilizing and intelligent digital resource management. At the same time, an interface solution for docking with the digital campus is reserved to provide integrated management and efficient use of records information in multiple levels and channels.
