Prof. Cheris Wing Chi CHOW joined the University of Macau in 2009 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing in the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). She holds bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees in marketing from City University of Hong Kong. Her research papers have been published in leading international journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of Applied Psychology. She was awarded the FBA Outstanding Research Award for the 2024/2025 academic year. Prof. Chow has also received best paper awards at international conferences held in Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland, and the US.

In addition to her teaching role in FBA, Prof. Chow actively engages in professional development and executive training for the business and hospitality sectors. She was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award by the UM Centre for Continuing Education in 2023, 2024 and 2025, in recognition of her outstanding teaching performance and contributions to continuing education. For Prof. Chow, the spirit of education lives on in those she has inspired and will be carried forward to future generations. She will remain committed to her teaching mission: to ignite students’ curiosity, nurture their passion for learning, and empower them to discover and realise their boundless potential.
